Guided tours, workshops and yoga at the museum

The exhibition continues with great public success “Diorama. Generation Earth ” to the MAN of Nuoro, which has collected, in two months of opening, over 11,200 admissions.

The museum, transformed into a gigantic diorama, suggests to visitors important reflections on current issues – global ecological transformation, our relationship with other living species, respect for resources – all read through the filter of art and poetry.

The invitation to rethink the relationship with the world and its rapid metamorphoses extends to visitors of all ages, thanks to the rich programme of workshops and guided tours .

The events are organized by the MAN education department, which has always specialized in narrating and exploring the contents of the exhibitions. Here is a calendar of initiatives that will make autumn at the MAN an opportunity for meeting and dialogue.

Educational workshops for schools nursery and primary schools are already active every morning upon reservation;

Added to these is the program for middle and high school students, for whom the museum is opening registrations from today, offering a significant path to approach the current issues of environmental sustainability and role of the younger generations as an active part in safeguarding the planet.

Guided tours for adults – which regularly have an average attendance of 30 participants per evening – will continue every week in October upon reservation, in days 1-8-15-24-29 at 6 pm, curated by Chiara Gatti, Elisabetta Masala and Alessandro Moni.

On the occasion of the Giornata del contemporaneo, Saturday 12 October, the educational workshops for each age group include a special path designed to stimulate participation in the dynamics of the relationship between man and the natural world, activating a critical and proactive debate.

For the first time, MAN also presents a yoga class, organized by Chandra Asd Hatha Yoga Center which will see the members approach the discipline during three meditation sessions with Sucka Pranayama, Hatha Yoga practice and relaxation, all immersed among the works of the Diorama exhibition, during the days of Wednesday 16-23-30 at 17.00.
