September at MAN

MAN is pleased to announce the calendar of events for the month of September 2022.

Given the great success of the initiatives of the month of August, the MAN continues with the closings postponed to 10pm and enriches the programming with a series of new appointments including those dedicated to the publishing world with the cycle Biblio MAN ia” which will be held every Thursday of the month.

  • From a participatory perspective, the museum will participate with special projects, including postponed closures and educational workshops, to Nugoresa night , at European Heritage Days, at the European Mobility Day and to the project Sharper – European Researchers’ Night.
  • There will be no shortage of the usual ones guided tours on Sunday by Alessandro Moni and on Wednesday by Elisabetta Masala.
  • We remind all interested parties that from September 1st the educational workshops will resume aimed at associations, playrooms, organized groups and individual users who, upon reservation, will be able to participate in 2-hour meetings dedicated to in-depth analysis of the topics covered in the ongoing exhibition “SENSORAMA. The look, the things, the deceptions. From Magritte to augmented reality”.

  • Friday 2 September – closing at 10pm.
  • Sunday 4 September – Free entry and guided tour of the exhibition by Alessandro Moni at 5pm (by reservation).
  • Wednesday 7 September – Guided tour of the exhibition by Elisabetta Masala at 7.00 pm (by reservation).
  • Friday 9 September – Participation in Nugoresa night closing at 10pm.
  • Wednesday 14 September – Guided tour of the exhibition by Elisabetta Masala at 7.00 pm (by reservation).
  • Thursday 15 September – First appointment of the cycle Biblio MAN ia” – Baingio Pinna, author of the volume ‘Visual perception’ talks with Chiara Gatti, 6.30 pm.
  • Saturday 17 September – Free entry on the occasion of European Mobility Day.
  • Sunday 18 September – Guided tour of the exhibition by Alessandro Moni at 5.00 pm (by reservation).
  • Wednesday 21 September – Guided tour of the exhibition by Chiara Gatti at 7.00 pm (by reservation).
  • Thursday 22 September – Second appointment of the cycle Biblio MAN ia” – Sabrina Melis, artist and author of the volume ‘ Timber Union talks with Elisabetta Masala, 6.30 pm.
  • Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September – Educational workshops organized by the Education Department on the occasion of the European Heritage Days (by reservation).
  • Wednesday 28 September Anticipation European Researchers’ Night, workshop in Piazza Satta organized by Baingio Pinna and the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Sassari, 10am-8pm.
  • Wednesday 28 September – Guided tour of the exhibition by Elisabetta Masala at 7.00 pm (by reservation).
  • Thursday 29 September – Third appointment of the “Biblio MAN ia” – Pasquale Ruiu and Michele Masiero, editorial director of Sergio Bonelli Editore, in dialogue with Chiara Gatti present the volume ‘Tex, 75 years of a myth’, 6.30 pm.
  • Friday 30 September – Guided tour of the exhibition by Alessandro Moni at 7.00 pm and closing at 10.00 pm on the occasion of the European Researchers’ Night.
