A journey into dark zones of the last 100 years

The twentieth century is a dark room within which arise the walls of Auschwitz, the face of the Führer, the mushroom cloud, LSD, Man Ray’s solarizations, the student revolution, Dolly the sheep and JFK. On the one hand, totalitarianisms impose order, propaganda, obedience, death, fueling the banality of evil. On the other, an androgynous dance in the light and dense territories of Surrealism, transforms tragedy into art with powerful rituals aimed at celebrating life beyond good and evil. The Talk – “Something is dreaming about us” – is conceived as a ritual that involves a journey through the world dark zones of our history through the dull eyes of gray figures such as Joseph Goebbels and Eva Braun, and of volcanic artists such as Lee Miller, Leonora Carrington, Maria Lai, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Bo Zheng, Marina Abramovic, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Bartolina Xixa.
