Slowness day, appointments at MAN!

4 May 2022

May 2, International Day of Slowness

Slowness, now set aside as a method not usable by the majority of people living in highly anthropized environments, was rediscovered during the lockdown. Most people have forgotten its value or have simply never experienced it.

Among them are also young people, constantly caught up in the whirlwind of commitments and speed from an early age.

The MAN Educational Department enhances this day with two weekly appointments aimed at both adults and children according to the calendar below:

4 May 2022 – 4.00pm / 5.00pm A meeting to regain body awareness with gentle gymnastics and joint mobility activities, inside the museum rooms, led by the instructor Rossana Lillo, graduated in motor sciences and registered with the FIF

5 May 2022 at 5.00pm / 6.30pm Slow art workshop for children aged 7 to 13. During the workshop, gestural art will be experimented, generated by very slow movements that follow the rhythm of the sounds of nature: sea waves, gurgling of a stream, bird calls in the forest, how to draw the time that passes and flows through our body.
